B IS FOR BUZZ CUTS- If you asked 10,000 couples what they did on their first date, few would answer "I took my girl for a buzz cut." That's exactly what happened last Saturday night as Bob took Sandy out for their first date. We started out by snipping Sandy's bangs even shorter. Then, using scissors, we lopped off giant pieces of hair and dropped them in Sandy's lap as she looked on in disbelief. We gave Sandy a nicely finished short haircut, using clippers over comb. Then Sandy said, "I want a buzz cut," so we took the #2 blade and ran it all over, giving Sandy a velvety smooth buzz cut. After the haircut, Bob and Sandy went out to a Japanese steak house for dinner- what an excellent first date!!
MOLLY SAYS "BUZZ ME" Our latest model is Molly, and yes, she's a living doll!! Most of us started our careers in haircutting on our sisters' dolls- the price of a good haircut was a whooping from Dad, but what the hell- it was worth it. Now we get to do haircuts on real dolls- like Molly. Yossi in Israel is one of our biggest supporters, and he asked me to buzz the sides and back FIRST on our next model, so Yossi, this Bud's for you!!
Just like my sister's Barbie doll!! Although I must admit, it's a little more even than the work I did as a kid on sis' Barbie!!
BUZZCUT #3- Amanda is one of the most animated models we've ever seen- she goes from laughter to tears as her hair is buzzed. Finally, her haircut is finished as she has a nice buzz cut with bangs. Amanda decides she doesn't like the bangs, so she says "take off the bangs," and moments later she has a perfect 1/4" buzz all over.
BUZZCUT #4- CRY ME A RIVER- Rachel poses for pictures before her haircut. She asked for a "crewcut" and when the haircut was over, she thought it was "way too short," and she was almost in tears.
BUZZCUTS #5 AND 6- BUZZED BUDDIES- Becky and Amy are best friends- they're both 21 year old college coeds, and Becky has decided to get a buzz-cut. Amy does a great job clipping off Becky's hair. 24 Hours later, Amy is in the chair, and Becky, sporting her fresh buzzcut, gives Amy the EXACT SAME HAIRCUT!! VERY COOL!! |
